West Country beacons light up to mark 80th anniversary of D-Day
Beacons have been lit across the West as part of an event commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
People gathered in Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire at 21:15 BST to watch.
“Unless we have those moments, then no-one remembers,” said Colin Brooks from SULA Lightship.
