WAFU U-20 Championship: Zubairu Upbeat Flying Eagles Will Floor Ghana
Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu is in buoyant mood ahead of his side’s clash with Ghana.
The holders will take on the Black Satellites in the final of the WAFU B U-20 Championship in Lome on Wednesday night (today).
Zubairu’s side have recovered from their slow start to earn a berth in the final of the competition.
The gaffer recognised the strength of the Ghanaians but insisted they will exploit their weakness.

“Ghana are a good team, but they’re not fast. They don’t play with high intensity,” he said ahead of the game.
“We’re also aware of the rivalry with Ghana at any level.
“We have grown in this tournament, we have improved with each match.
“We’re prepared and we’re going all-out as defending champions who want to retain their title.”
