Former President Donald Trump was taken off stage by the Secret Service at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday after loud cracking noises were heard.
Trump could be seen on stage contracting his body to the right and dropping to the ground before he was surrounded by Secret Service agents who rushed him to his car. What appeared to be blood could be seen on the right side of Trump’s head.
The visible injury may have been the result of a cut during the frenzy of getting Trump off stage, a Secret Service source told NBC News.
President Joe Biden has been briefed on the incident, a White House official told NBC News.
