Team to Win, Form, News
The sides with contrasting fortunes in this season’s Primera Division battle on Friday evening when Real Betis host Celta at the Benito Villamarin.
Betis still hold hopes of qualifying for Europa via their final spot in La Liga, but any slim hopes of a late assault on the Champions League spots have been evaporated due to their recent form.
Celta, meanwhile, are looking over their shoulders at the relegation zone as at the moment they are just three points clear of the bottom three.
Current Form
Betis Current Form
Betis couldn’t be in worse form heading into this one as they have lost four matches in a row versus Atletico Madrid, Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano and then this season’s surprise package, Girona.
In those four games they have conceded 10 goals.
Betis have won just four matches in 2024 so far.
Celta Current Form
Celta’s recent form is more encouraging as they defeated Sevilla 2-1 away from home and then drew 0-0 at home to Rayo.
They have lost just one game out of their last five and that came against Real Madrid so nothing to be ashamed of there.
Between 20th January and 17th February, they lost four out of five which is why they are in their uneasy predicament near the bottom three.

Scoreline Prediction
Betis have the home advantage here, but their recent form has been so bad that Celta will fancy themselves to get at least a point.
