Coach Austin Eguavoen has unveiled his starting lineup, highlighting a blend of experience and fresh talent as Nigeria aims to celebrate their qualification.
Gabriel Osho, who is making his Super Eagles debut, will partner with team captain William Troost-Ekong and Calvin Bassey in a solid three-man defense.
The wing-back positions will be filled by Ola Aina and Bruno Onyeamachi, providing width and support in both defense and attack.
In the center of midfield, Wilfred Ndidi will take charge with his defensive prowess, aiming to control the game and break down Benin’s attacks. Alex Iwobi, known for his creativity, will play a crucial role in linking the midfield to a dynamic forward line that features Ademola Lookman, Kelechi Iheanacho, and the prolific Victor Osimhen.
Stanley Nwabali keeps his place as the goalkeeper, tasked with maintaining a clean sheet to give Nigeria the best chance at victory. The match is set to kick off at 8 PM, and the Super Eagles are determined to deliver a strong performance that will bring them closer to securing their spot in the upcoming AFCON tournament.
