Bukayo Saka set a new record after helping England defeat Switzerland on penalties in the quarter-finals of the European Championship.
The Three Lions progressed into the semi-finals after triumphing 5-3 on penalty shootout following 1-1 draw in regulation time.
Saka scored in the 80th minute to draw England level after Switzerland took the lead with 15 minutes left through Breel Embolo.
The winger was one of England’s players who converted his spot kick with Manuel Akanji missing his own effort.
Saka’s equaliser for England means he is the first ever Arsenal player to score for England at both the Men’s World Cup and the European Championships.
Also Saka is the first Arsenal player to score in the knockout rounds at the Men’s European Championships.

England’s penalty shootout win against Switzerland was their first since the 1996 edition on home soil, when they beat Spain 4-2 in the quarter-finals.
After the win against Spain, England went to to lose on 5-4 on penalties against Germany in the semi-finals.
They went on to lose on penalties shootouts at the 2004 (vs Portugal), 2012 (vs Italy) and 2020 (vs Italy) editions.
Gareth Southgate’s men will take on either the Netherlands or Turkey in the semi-finals.
The other lady four clash will see former European champions France and Spain square off.
France needed penalty shootout to eliminate Portugal while Spain overcame hosts Germany 2-1 after extra-time.
