Ryan Seacrest’s Rep Shares Sad Update About His Relationship

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors

Ryan Seacrest and Aubrey Paige have officially called it quits. The couple decided to end their relationship after three years together, according to a source close to the couple who spoke with PEOPLE.

The source confirmed, “After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways.” The couple intends to remain friends and continue supporting each other, with the source continuing, “They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.” A rep for Seacrest has also confirmed the split.

The couple first captured public attention in May 2021 during a Memorial Day celebration in the Hamptons. Despite their public appearances at events such as the LACMA 2022 Collectors Committee Gala and Jennifer Lopez’s documentary premiere, Halftime, in June 2022, Seacrest, 49, and Paige, 26, mostly kept their relationship under wraps.

However, they occasionally offered a peek into their lives together through social media. On New Year’s Eve 2021, Paige, a model and entrepreneur, shared her affection on Instagram: “Safe to say the best part of 2021 was meeting the most incredible man 😍🙌🏼. Wishing everyone love, happiness, safety & health in 2022 🥂.”

As Seacrest concluded his tenure as co-host of Live with Kelly Ripa on April 14, 2023, Paige supported him in the studio alongside his family. She expressed her admiration later on social media, saying, “Ryan, never have I ever met a more inspiring man… You make it look so easy, but the truth is there is just nobody quite like you. I am so beyond proud of you. Not just for your work ethic, but for your caring heart and the genuine love that you give to others.”

It appears that the entertainment personality will have plenty to keep him busy amidst this break up, as he is set to begin hosting Wheel of Fortune in September 2024 following Pat Sajak’s retirement. Seacrest, renowned for managing multiple high-profile roles including American Idol, his radio show, and his charitable work through the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, is apparently really excited about his new gig. In February, the host shared a social media post featuring his favorite snacks, which attracted significant attention and prompted an enthusiastic response from a fan about his transition from hosting Live to taking over as the host of the infamous game show. Seacrest surprisingly responded, saying he is “very excited.”
