Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors

Kris Jenner celebrated a big milestone this week, and many of her kids sent well wishes her way — including son Rob Kardashian.

On Wednesday, November 6, Rob took to Instagram to share a photo of his mom, Kris Jenner, with a photo from her 69th birthday. In the photo, Kris is seen blowing out candles at a cake, with a glass of champagne in her hand, as she’s wearing a shirt with images of her face. Kris’ birthday was just a day prior on November 5.

“Happy Birthday mama !! @krisjenner I love you so much!,” wrote Kardashian. “Wishing you good health and Happiness forever mom ! Thank you for being the best mom to all of us!”

Rob — who is the son of Kris and the late Robert Kardashian, brother of Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian, stepbrother to Kylie and Kendall Jenner, and father to Dream Kardashian, who he shares with his ex Blac Chyna — is known to keep a lower profile than that of his A-list siblings. However, he makes occasional appearances on social media, often sharing images of Dream, as well as some family throwbacks.

Kourtney noticed this photo, and commented “Roberto” on the post with a heart emoji.

Another fan wrote “Ugh we love a Roberto moment on IG.”

“Yay robs posting again!!,” another fan wrote. “We love youuuu.”

While Kris is at the tail-end of her 60s, the mother of six, and the manager of their careers, has no plans to slow down anytime soon. Back in May, Kris made an appearance on the This Life of Mine with James Corden radio show, where she explained that retirement isn’t in the cards for her anytime soon.

She said that work keeps her young and expressed gratitude for the skills she’s learned over the years.

“It’s finding solutions for things. It’s your organizational skills,” Kris said. “It’s your people skills. It’s the love of life,” she said. “It’s, you know, having somewhere to go, getting up, getting dressed, presenting yourself to the world a certain way, and interacting with the people that you love.”
