Ola Aina scores as Nottingham Forest triumphs over West Ham
Nigerian defender Ola Aina was among the scorers in Nottingham Forest’s impressive 3-0 win against West Ham United on Saturday. The victory at the City Ground helped Forest climb above Arsenal in the Premier League standings.
The game started with Chris Wood opening the scoring in the 27th minute for manager Rui Pedro Silva’s team. Callum Hudson-Odoi then doubled the lead at the 65-minute mark, before Aina, a former Chelsea defender, secured the win with a goal in the 78th minute.
With this result, Nottingham Forest moves up to third in the table, surpassing Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on both points and goal difference. Forest now sits behind Liverpool and Manchester City, adding to their strong start to the Premier League season.
