NFL News: Every Final Score of Late Week 10 Games

The late games of Week 10 are over and here’s how the chips fell for all the late games in the NFL:

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Tennessee Titans

Final Score: 27-17

Key Moments:

Late in the first half, Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons hit Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert just as he was releasing the ball, causing it to slip out of his right hand. The ball traveled forward, where Titans cornerback Roger McCreary picked it up and returned it for what seemed to be a touchdown. Initially, the officials ruled it a touchdown, which would have tied the game at 13-13, pending the extra point. However, after reviewing the play, the call was reversed, and it was ruled an incomplete pass instead. Unsurprising, Titans Coach Brian Callahan was vocally fuming about it the refs.

Wide receiver Calvin Ridley was responsible for both of Tennessee’s touchdowns, finishing with five receptions for 84 yards. Titans quarterback Will Levis, making his return after missing the last three games due to a shoulder injury, went 18-of-23 for 175 yards but was sacked a brutal seven times. On the other side, Herbert completed 14 of 18 passes for 164 yards and rushed for 32 yards.

Arizona Cardinals vs. New York Jets

Final Score: 31-6

Key Moments:

The Cardinals offense had a field day today, with quarterback Kyler Murray having an outstanding performance and finishing the game with 22 completions on 24 attempts for 266 yards and three total touchdowns—two rushing and one passing.

The crushing loss significantly dampens the Jets’ playoff chances, leaving them in a tough spot as they sit at 3-7. To have any hope of making the postseason, New York would likely need to win every single game for the rest of the season, which would require a near-perfect finish.

However, even if they manage to run the table, their path to the playoffs would still be complicated by tiebreakers. The Jets would not only need to win out but also rely on other teams to falter, making the odds of securing a postseason berth even slimmer. At this point, with the margin for error almost gone, the Jets’ playoff dreams are hanging by the slimmest of threads.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys

Final Score: 34-6

After their fourth straight loss, the Cowboys dropped to 3-6, and it’s becoming clear that they are on track to miss the playoffs for the first time since their 6-10 season in 2020.

With franchise quarterback Dak Prescott preparing for surgery on a torn hamstring, the Cowboys simply didn’t have enough strength to keep up with a team that had played in the Super Bowl just two years ago. Dallas has been struggling and an embarrassing loss like this one surely won’t help morale.
