Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul: Time and Where to Watch the Mega Fight in Nigeria

Mike Tyson will face Jake Paul in a highly anticipated boxing showdown, but the former heavyweight champion enters the ring with a clear weight advantage. However, he is 31 years older than Paul, who transitioned from YouTube stardom to boxing.

Though Tyson and Paul both weighed in behind closed doors, the exact figures have not yet been disclosed. Tyson, in his last professional bout in 2005, tipped the scales at 233 pounds before losing to Kevin McBride. Paul, who typically fights in the cruiserweight division (which has a 200-pound limit), is expected to weigh around 220 pounds for this match.

Originally scheduled for July, this fight was delayed after Tyson suffered a health scare and was hospitalized due to an infected ulcer. Now, the bout will count toward each fighter’s professional record. It will consist of eight two-minute rounds, with the fighters wearing 14 oz gloves instead of the usual 10 oz gloves.

The fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas, in front of 75,000 spectators. For fans in Nigeria, the action will begin early at 2 AM local time on Saturday, November 16, 2024, and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
