Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard has taken a major step in his personal life, secretly marrying his long-time girlfriend, Helene Spilling.
The couple, who publicly announced their relationship in June 2023, chose to keep their wedding private, with no social media announcements or guests present.
Odegaard and Spilling were first seen together at the London Football Awards in March 2023, and she frequently appears on his social media. Spilling, who is currently expecting their first child, is a successful entrepreneur, owning a dance studio and a fashion brand, and has a strong Instagram following of over 177,000 fans.
According to Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang, Spilling has officially changed her last name to Odegaard, with the Arsenal star also updating his marital status in Norway’s national registry.
Spilling has often supported her husband at Arsenal games, showing dedication to the club as well. Meanwhile, Odegaard has been out due to an injury since the September international break. He missed Arsenal’s recent match against Newcastle and is hopeful for a return ahead of their clash with Chelsea.
