Edinson Cavani’s 2021/22 season at Manchester United has been severely impacted by injuries and it now appears he will miss at least one more game after picking up a calf issue while on international duty with Uruguay.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star has made just seven starts in all competitions this campaign, scoring two goals.
Before the international break he missed plenty of games for United due to a thigh issue, but the new problem is with his calf, which he hurt when Uruguay played Chile in a World Cup qualifier midweek.
There is more positive news surrounding Raphael Varane and Paul Pogba, as although they were reported to have suffered minor injuries while away with France, they are both set to be involved for Man Utd against Leicester.
