Kate Hudson’s Son Ryder, 20, Looks All Grown Up During Rare Public Appearance

Kate Hudson recently enjoyed a family outing at a fashion show in Venice, Italy, with her 20-year-old son, Ryder Robinson, in tow.

Hudson was spotted in a rare outing with her son at the Max Mara event on Tuesday, June 11, which was held at Piazza San Marco. The mother-son duo coordinated black-and-white outfits, with Ryder wearing a black and white checkered shirt, while Hudson looked stunning in a black dress with a plunging neckline and turquoise earrings.

The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress spoke to People earlier this month about her close bond with her eldest son, describing him as her “partner in crime.” Hudson explained how their relationship is unique, having raised him since her early adulthood. “Because I guess I was young when I had him, it’s a different relationship than with my other kids. So he’s seen me through all of my good times, my bad times, this boyfriend, not that boyfriend,” she stated to the publication.

Hudson mentioned the special connection she shares with Ryder due to their shared experiences over the years. “He’s seen me through all of my good times, my bad times, this boyfriend, not that boyfriend,” she noted to the outlet, emphasizing the depth of their relationship.

The 45-year-old has three children from different relationships. Ryder is from her marriage to Chris Robinson, with whom she was married from 2000 to 2007. She shares her 12-year-old son, Bingham, with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy; they were engaged from 2011 until their split in 2014. Hudson’s youngest child, a 5-year-old daughter named Rani Rose, is with her current fiancé, Danny Fujikawa. Hudson and Fujikawa announced their engagement on Instagram in September 2021.
