The wickets kept tumbling for LSG before Ayush Badoni and Arshad Khan stabilized the ship to counter the DC bowlers. As the game progressed towards the fag end, Khaleel got carried away by an appeal even as the umpire remained unbothered.
On the fifth ball of the 18th over, the Rajasthan-based pacer nailed a yorker into Arshad Khan from over the wicket that the Madhya Pradesh-based bowler failed to connect. Seeing the ball thud the pad, Khaleel was carried away and almost started celebrappealing with the umpire seeming uninterested. The ball was going down the leg stump and was probably missing the stumps. However, the Capitals also did not have any reviews left, and captain Rishabh Pant was seen gesturing towards the bowler with a wry smile on his face.
