Gavin Rossdale, 59, Makes Rare Appearance With Girlfriend, 35

Gavin Rossdale stepped out for a rare public appearance with his girlfriend Xhoana Xhenetic by his side.

Rossdale, 59, who began dating Xhenetic, 35, nearly a year ago, appeared side-by-side with his partner at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester on Sunday, November 10.

Rossdale opted for a sheer short-sleeved top, pants, and sneakers, while the Albanian singer wore a dark, webbed dress featuring a sheer skirt, gloves, and chunky boots. Her platinum blonde hair stood out in a sleek, behind-the-ears look, which she paired with bright red lipstick –– extremely similar to Rossdale’s ex-wife, Gwen Stefani’s signature style.

Rossdale and Xheneti went public with their relationship in March 2024 after a few months of getting to know each other. Their romance began when the Bush frontman discovered the songstress’ music and reached out to her on social media, as he revealed on an episode of the Amy & T.J. podcast. Although Xheneti initially played it cool, their conversations eventually turned romantic.

Balancing his new relationship with his responsibilities as a single dad to his three children was a concern for Rossdale. He admitted in the episode that he wasn’t sure if he could manage both, saying, “I didn’t know that I could do it all and be the single dad who is heroically present for them and not [be] available [to date] for a week,” explaining that Xheneti has been nothing but understanding and supportive.

Rossdale shares his children –– Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10 — with Stefani, 55, whom he was married to from 2002 to 2016. The No Doubt front woman has since remarried country singer Blake Shelton, whom she tied the knot with in 2021.
