Former Penn State Wrestler Gavin Teasdale’s Bloody and Battered Update Has Fans Concerned: “Heal Up”


Collegiate wrestlers aren’t new to injuries on the mat. However, sometimes, their tryst with accidents doesn’t end with their life on the mat coming to an end. For ex-Penn State wrestler, and current MMA fighter, Gavin Teasdale, an unexpected bolt from the blue has left his fans in shock.

In his recent post on X, the former Penn State, and later Iowa, wrestler shared his dire health condition. Captioned “God was with me once again. Had a lot of close calls.” The post shows Gavin on a hospital bed with his face all bruised, bloody, and swollen. Understandably, fans couldn’t help but come together to stand behind the wrestler as he begins his journey back to full health.

Sports enthusiast Hunter said Gavin has nothing to look forward to right now instead of trying to recover from the daunting injury. “Heal up, brother!“, said the fan after the wrestler’s post surfaced online.

While it’s still unknown as to what came Teasdale’s way, images of his bloodied face have fans sending all the good vibes to the four-time Pennsylvania State champion. Offering good wishes, one user commented, “Thoughts and prayers your way Gavin.
