Five flood warnings issued as river levels rise
Five flood warnings have been issued across Birmingham as heavy rain continues to fall.
Properties and roads in Edgbaston and Stirchley are expected to hit because of rising water levels in the River Rea.
As a result of heavy rainfall, flooding could also hit Bournville with alerts issued in Tipton and Walsall, the Environment Agency said.
Floodwaters rose on the A449 in Stourbridge on Thursday night, leaving a car stranded in the road.
