Enyimba coach reveals target ahead of Niger Tornadoes clash
Coach Yemi Olanrewaju of Enyimba FC has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to secure all three points when they face Niger Tornadoes in their 2024/2025 NPFL matchday seven clash.
The game is scheduled for mid-week at the Enyimba Stadium, and Olanrewaju said his side aims to maintain their impressive start to the season.
Speaking about the encounter, Olanrewaju acknowledged that Tornadoes can be tricky opponents, especially away from home.
“We know it’s going to be a difficult game. They haven’t won any games at home, but they seem to perform better away. We understand their game plan and tactics, and we will be ready for them,” he said.
The Enyimba coach also stressed the importance of continuing their solid form and clean sheet streak.
“For the past three games, we’ve kept clean sheets, and we want to keep it that way. Our goal is to collect as many points as possible to climb the table and put pressure on Remo Stars and Rivers United.
“We won’t back down. We’ll be ready for them,” Olanrewaju added.
With Enyimba aiming to stay among the title contenders, the match against Niger Tornadoes is crucial in keeping their momentum alive.
