Donovan Criticises Messi’s Behaviour In Inter Miami’s Loss To
Former Everton striker Landon Donovan has criticized Lionel Messi’s lack of respect for Inter Miami’s fans after the team lost 3-2 to Atlanta United in last weekend’s MLS Cup Eastern Conference Playoffs.
The Argentina international stormed down the tunnel in anger after the game, without a show of support for Miami’s fans.

Reacting to the development, Donovan in a chat with Unfiltered Soccer podcast, expressed his displeasure with Messi’s behaviour.
“I don’t like that. Just shake their hands and say congratulations. Messi walked right off the field.
“Maybe in the locker room, they came out and said congrats or whatever, and by the way, your fans are out there too, at least congratulate them on a great season and thank them for all the support they have had.”
