Dog’s Look of ‘Absolute Disgust’ As Owners Take Her Camping in Pouring Rain

Internet users have been left laughing at a dog who was unimpressed when its owners took it on a camping trip.

Andrea, 34, from Toronto, Canada, decided to take her 5-year-old dog Nabi on a camping trip just outside Arrowsmith Provincial Park in Ontario. She has taken her pup camping a number of times but, on this occasion, Nabi was less than impressed with the weather conditions.

“My partner and I love to go camping, and so does Nabi,” she told Newsweek. “We are an outdoorsy family, and use our weekends to get out of the city and explore nature as much as possible.

“Nabi is always eager to follow us on yet another adventure. However, sometimes Mother Nature has other ideas as to how the weekend is going to go,” Andrea said.

“We tried to beat the rain, setting up our campground as quickly as possible, but unfortunately didn’t make it in time. While Nabi loves adventuring, she really hates getting wet.”

Andrea shared a video of her dog on Instagram, showing how visibly unimpressed her pet was. “When the human insists on going camping even in the pouring rain,” she wrote in the text overlay of the video.

The clip, which has received over 2.9 million views since it was first shared on September 8, shows the dog looking not so happy while rain can be heard pouring down outside the tent. “Camping and rain at the same time?! It’s just too much to handle!” Andrea wrote in the video’s caption.

She told Newsweek: “Nabi is unique and is able to share her expressions perfectly through her sassy facial expressions and cut eye. And she never holds back in letting us know just how unimpressed she is.”

Camping is a hugely popular activity for people in North America. In 2021, approximately 25.9 million North American households went on more than three annual camping trips, according to Statista.

Meanwhile, a report by The American Pet Products Association reveals that 55 percent of American dog owners plan their travels around the pets.

Hundreds of people took to the comments of Andrea’s video with their reactions.

“He’s thinking … ‘Didn’t even check the weather …’,” wrote @sunnie0205.

@Lulus.petwear posted: “So unimpressed that you get no eye contact.”

@David.potus commented: “Dog: Dude! We allowed you to domesticate us so we don’t have to put up with this!”

“He is not for the streets,” wrote @houseofsalar.

“Unimpressed? I call it disgusted,” added @shadowroxanne.
