Dog Let Out to Backyard, Owner Baffled at Reaction: ‘What Are You Doing?’

Every dog owner thinks their pup is the sweetest and can do no wrong, but the truth is that sometimes they can exhibit weird, inexplicable behaviors too, just like us.

A dog owner has left the internet in stitches after sharing a hilarious video of his dog suddenly acting suspiciously, which quickly went viral on social media.

The viral clip, shared on TikTok in April under the username numbmellos, filmed by the poster’s CCTV cameras in the backyard, shows the dog suddenly acting weird without an apparent reason, running straight into a plant pot placed halfway through the garden, and headbutting it before running back inside.

His worried owner, who couldn’t understand what was going on in the pup’s mind, can be heard saying: “What are you doing?”

Emergency Vet USA explains that a dog behaving oddly could be experiencing stress or even worse, developing an illness, that’s why you should always check with your vet if you think your pup is behaving weird.

If your dog has started whining all of a sudden, it may be that they need more playtime or distractions, although it could also signal emotional discomfort. Excessive barking sometimes means that your pup is either overwhelmed, bored, stressed, or lacking exercise.

However, the website adds: “While some dogs may act weird from time to time, others may just be strange in general.”

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 10.9 million views and 1.5 million likes on the platform.
