Danger driver admits causing fatal mother and daughter crash in Leeds
A man has pleaded guilty to causing the death of a mother and her four-year-daughter in a crash in Leeds.
Justyna Hulboj, 27, and Lena Czepczor were hit by an Audi TT while walking to nursery on Scott Hall Road on 16 January 2023.
Hardeep Bhachu, 27, of Grant Row, Leeds, the driver of the Audi, admitted two counts of causing death by dangerous driving at Leeds Crown Court.
The driver of another car, Jasskamal Riyat, 35, of Buckstone Avenue, Leeds, pleaded not guilty to the same offences.
Mr Riyat, who was driving a BMW at the time, is due to go on trial on 6 January 2025.
Bhachu was remanded into custody by the judge and was told he would be sentenced at the end of Mr Riyat’s trial.
