Chelsea vs Everton Predicted Lineups
Chelsea will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in all competitions when they face Everton in the Premier League on Monday.
The Blues will obviously have ambitions of claiming all three points at Stamford Bridge, but the unbeaten run has given them a platform to end the season in a positive fashion after a difficult campaign under Mauricio Pochettino.
Everton are still in the middle of a relegation dogfight and are just two points clear of the relegation zone. However, they do have two games in hand to their closest rivals including this match versus Chelsea.
Chelsea Team News and predicted XI
Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku, Levi Colwill and Lesley Ugochukwu are all still missing for Chelsea, having missed most of the campaign due to injury.
Male Gusto sat out the draw against Sheffield Utd due to illness, but he should be free to return at right-back. He’ll need to, as well, as Axel Disasi, who deputised at right-back, is a doubt alongside Enzo Fernandez.
Raheem Sterling and Robert Sanchez are also ill and will be assessed before kick-off.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Petrovic; Gusto, T Silva, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Gallagher; Madueke, Palmer, Mudryk; Jackson.
Everton Team News and predicted XI
Everton were missing key midfielders Amadou Onana and Idrissa Gueye for the win against Burnley, so expect them to be restored to the starting XI even though the Toffees were victorious.
Dele Alli and Lewis Dobbin are long-term absentees, but James Garner looks like he’s shaken off a knock to put himself in contention to feature in some capacity.
Everton (4-4-1-1): Pickford; Coleman, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Harrison, Gueye, Onana, McNeil; Doucoure; Calvert-Lewin.
