Victor Boniface did not suffer a major injury in Sunday’s ghastly motor accident, according to Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.
Boniface’s Mercedes Benz car reportedly collided with an oncoming truck.
The Nigeria international was on his way to the airport to pick up his friends.

Speaking to popular German news outlet Bild after the accident, his club Leverkusen confirmed he escaped a bid injury.
“He is fine. Boniface only had two minor injuries to his hand.”
The 23-year-old was on target in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt last Saturday.
He scored the winning goal 18 minutes from time after earlier missing a penalty.
