Bam Adebayo shines with 32 Points as Miami Heat triumph over Wizards
Bam Adebayo put on a dominant performance, scoring 20 of his 32 points in the first half to lead the Miami Heat past the Washington Wizards with a 118-98 win on Saturday night, in the NBA’s 14th regular-season game held in Mexico City.
Adebayo was relentless on the boards, grabbing 14 rebounds, while shooting 12 of 24 from the field. His effort was instrumental in Miami improving to a 3-2 record this season.
The Heat had strong contributions from Jimmy Butler, who added 18 points, along with Tyler Herro’s 15 and Terry Rozier’s 12. Kel’el Ware came off the bench with 15 points, and rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. scored eight points in a meaningful game, celebrating his Mexican heritage.
Washington’s Bilal Coulibaly led his team with 22 points, while Jordan Poole added 21 points and Alexandre Sarr chipped in 17.
With his latest double-double, Adebayo now has 194 career double-doubles, moving him closer to Alonzo Mourning’s franchise record. Rony Seikaly holds the all-time Miami record with 221.

The Wizards will host the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, while the Heat return home to face the Sacramento Kings.
