Bam Adebayo shines in Heat victory, joins LeBron James in history
Miami Heat centre Bam Adebayo delivered a standout performance in the team’s 124-111 win over the Indiana Pacers on Friday. Adebayo scored 30 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, provided seven assists, and made five steals, becoming only the third player in Heat history—alongside LeBron James and Eddie Jones—to achieve a 30/10/5/5 stat line, according to StatMuse.
“It’s rare for me to shoot less than 50 per cent,” said Adebayo, who shot 10-of-17 from the field and made both of his three-point attempts.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra praised the three-time All-Star for his efforts, noting this was Adebayo’s second 30-point game of the season. “He got into a rhythm the right way. The ball found him, and he delivered,” Spoelstra said.
The win improves Miami’s record to 5-6 this season and 1-1 in NBA Cup group play.
