Ahmed Musa gets government appointment
Super Eagles captain and Kano Pillars star, Ahmed Musa, has been appointed as the Sports Ambassador of Kano State by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Musa, who is widely celebrated for his achievements on and off the pitch, expressed his gratitude through his X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday.
“I am deeply honoured to be appointed as the Sports Ambassador for Kano State! ,” Musa wrote.
He continued:
“This opportunity is quite humbling, and I’m excited to work towards empowering the youth and promoting sports development across the state. ⚽ Kano has a rich sporting heritage, and I can’t wait to contribute to building a brighter future for our athletes and communities.”
Musa also thanked Governor Yusuf and the Kano State Government for entrusting him with the new role.
“Thank you to the Kano State Government, ably led by @Kyusufabba, for this incredible responsibility and opportunity. Together, we’ll inspire the next generation to achieve greatness both on and off the field. Let’s make history! ”
The appointment reflects Musa’s longstanding commitment to youth empowerment and sports development, both locally and nationally. His new role will see him spearheading initiatives aimed at nurturing young talent and promoting a thriving sports culture across Kano State.
