Adam Richman Man V Food star finds possessions in north London

American TV presenter Adam Richman has said he found some of his most valuable possessions scattered in a playing field after they were stolen from him while he was at a motorway service station in north London.

The former Man v Food presenter, 50, said the items, which included the last birthday card he received from his late father, had been taken from him when he stopped at the London Gateway Services on the M1 in Barnet on 23 October.

In a video posted on X on Thursday, he said he found the items after he received a notification via an app that his keys were nearby.

The Metropolitan Police said its officers were investigating a report of theft.

The presenter is currently in the UK filming season two of Adam Richman Eats Britain.

In the social media post, Mr Richman said after wrapping filming in Tottenham, north London, he received a notification via an app that his keys were nearby, around Muswell Hill Playing Fields.

With the help of a bodyguard, he said they spent three hours during the evening searching for his items and that they even heard the tracking device on his keys.

Mr Richman said his possessions ended up being beyond a metal fence that his bodyguard climbed over and tracked down.

He added the items were found scattered on the ground, and what was recovered also included his bag, glasses, house keys and a children’s book from his mother.

Mr Richman said: “There are bad people about.

“But there are shining lights to be found as well.

“I found one.

“There goes my hero.”
