Police probe unexplained death near Barras market in Glasgow

A man has been found dead near the Barras Market in Glasgow.

Police Scotland were called to the Gallowgate entrance of the market, in the east end of the city, at about 13.50 on Wednesday.

Officers said the man was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is being treated as unexplained.

A force spokesperson said inquiries were ongoing.
