Police investigate ‘serious sexual assault’ next to River Clyde

Police are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault on a woman next to the River Clyde in Glasgow.

The incident took place on Congress Road, near to the SEC and OVO Hydro, on Friday.

Officers were visible at the scene on Saturday and part of the area was cordoned off.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing.
