Rahul Tripathi devasted after horrible run out mix-up in IPL playoffs
KKR vs SRH: Rahul Tripathi left devasted after being dismissed in horrible run out mix up with partner Abdul Samad
Heart breaking for Rahul Tripathi. The ace batter played a stunning knock for Sunrisers Hyderabad. In the KKR vs SRH clash while others faltered, Tripathi was a class apart. But a horrible miscommunication between him and Abdul Samad left the batter devasted after his dismissal.
Rahul Tripathi Dismissal
It needed something special from Kolkata Knight Riders to dismiss the dangerman. And Andre Russell provided that. A horrible mix-up between Samad and Tripathi saw the latter being dismissed. Narine came to bowl after the strategic time out. Back of a length ball and Samad pushes it at backward point, looking for a single.
But, Samad continues to dive, but Tripathi stopped midway into his track after watching Andre Russell diving to stop the ball. A bit of a confusion as Samad continued to run and cross his partner. Russell throws it to Gurbaz while Tripathi remains stranded in the middle of the pitch.
Rahul Tripathi’s Blitz vs KKR
Rahul Tripathi came to SRH’s rescue after Mitchell Starc destroyed the top order. Tripathi got a save when Starc decided not to review a potential LBW. And he took best opportunity of the same. He stitched a good partnership with Heinrich Klaasen. Tripathi slammed 55 runs from 35 balls hitting 7 fours and a solitary sixer.
