Man Utd vs Burnley (3-1) Dec 30, 2021 Match Preview and Stats
Manchester United will be without Bruno Fernandes for this week’s Premier League fixture against Burnley.
In the disappointing result and performance against Newcastle, the Portuguese international collected his fifth yellow card of the season which triggered an automatic one-match suspension.
Fernandes picked up the booking versus Newcastle for dissent in what was an extremely frustrating evening for Man Utd and for manager Ralf Rangnick, as the side drew 1-1 away from home.

The performance will be particularly worrying for Rangnick, as Newcastle deserved to win the game.
A few changes are expected from that game – some forced, some not.
Marcus Rashford’s poor form continued against Newcastle and he and Mason Greenwood are expected to drop out of the starting XI, with Edinson Cavani and Jadon Sancho being brought back in.
The Uruguayan came off the bench to score the equaliser in the Newcastle fixture.
With Fernandes suspended, that will allow either Donny van de Beek or Nemanja Matic to come in, as Rangnick may opt to switch from a 4-2-2-2 formation to a 4-3-3.
Paul Pogba remains injured.
David de Gea will start behind a likely back four of Diogo Dalot, Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire and Alex Telles, though Luke Shaw is pushing hard for a return at left-back.
Fred and Scott McTominay will keep their places, probably alongside Van de Beek.
Cavani could be asked to play a slightly wider role but still keep close to Cristiano Ronaldo up top, with Sancho on the other side.
