How Many Points Did Bronny James Score in Lakers NBA Cup Win Over Spurs?
The Los Angeles Lakers took on the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night to open up their new NBA Cup schedule. Los Angeles battled throughout the game and eventually came away with the big win by a score of 120-115.
The Spurs made things interesting in the fourth quarter as the game went down to the final minutes. But in the end, the star duo of Anthony Davis and LeBron James was too much for San Antonio.
Davis finished the game by scoring 40 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He continued his incredible start to the year and has been one of the biggest reasons for the success of Los Angeles.
James put up his fourth straight triple-double, scoring 15 points, grabbing 16 rebounds, and dishing out 12 assists. This marked his career-high in consecutive triple-doubles, showing the dominance that he still has on the floor in year 22.
But throughout the game, many were wondering if rookie guard Bronny James would get any playing time. He ended up being a DNP-Coach’s Decision and didn’t enter the game.
Due to how close the game was, Bronny didn’t see any game action. He will now likely be sent back down to the G-League to play for the South Bay Lakers on Sunday.
