The U.S. Men’s National Team is back in action. The journey to next year’s Concacaf Nations League Finals and Gold Cup begins Thursday night in Kingston, Jamaica, as the USMNT takes on the Reggae Boyz in the first leg of their two-game quarterfinal showdown.
With an 8 p.m. ET kickoff at Kingston’s National Stadium, all eyes will be on new head coach Mauricio Pochettino as he leads his squad in their first competitive match since his appointment in September.

Pochettino, who had his first taste of U.S. Soccer last month with a couple of friendlies, now steps into the big leagues of Concacaf competition. And he’ll need to be on his game, Jamaica’s home crowd at Independence Park (a.k.a. “The Office”) is bound to bring some serious energy, making this an exciting start to the U.S. squad’s Nations League and Gold Cup journey.
This two-leg series will be decided by aggregate goals, wrapping up with a high-stakes second leg in St. Louis on Nov. 18. The stakes? A ticket to the Nations League Finals in March and a slot in the Gold Cup this summer.
