Brentford vs Ipswich Predicted Lineups: Starting XIs Premier
Brentford and Ipswich Town face off in an intriguing Premier League match at the Lner Community Stadium today. Both sides will be looking to bounce back from defeats, with Brentford falling 2-1 to Manchester United and Ipswich losing 2-0 to Everton.
This game presents a vital opportunity for Brentford to regain form at home, while Ipswich are still searching for their first win of the Premier League season.
Brentford have struggled on the road, but their home form has been more encouraging, scoring 14 goals in five matches. Ipswich, meanwhile, have found it tough in front of goal, having managed only 23 shots on target in eight games.
Injuries on both sides may influence the lineups, but with home advantage, Brentford will be keen to capitalise.
Brentford’s midfield could be bolstered by the return of Mathias Jensen, who missed the Manchester United game but is expected to be in contention for a place against Ipswich.
However, Rico Henry remains sidelined, and although he is nearing a return, it’s unlikely he will start. Other absentees include Igor Thiago (knee), Gustavo Nunes (back), and Josh Dasilva (knee). Aaron Hickey is also ruled out with a thigh problem.
Thomas Frank is expected to make only one change to his lineup, with Yoane Wissa likely to start on the left wing, replacing Keane Lewis-Potter. The rest of the side should remain unchanged, with Mikkel Damsgaard and Christian Norgaard set to continue in midfield.
Ethan Pinnock, who scored against Manchester United, will once again lead the defence alongside Nathan Collins and Kristoffer Ajer.

Ipswich’s injury list includes Axel Tuanzebe, who is out after a bizarre domestic injury involving washing up, as well as Janoi Donacien and Massimo Luongo, both nursing ankle issues.
Jacob Greaves and Ben Johnson are also unavailable, but there is a chance Jens Cajuste and Ali Al Hamadi could return to the squad.
Kieran McKenna is expected to make minimal changes to his starting XI, although Wes Burns, who struggled against Everton, may be replaced by Sammie Szmodics.
The forward line will be led by Liam Delap, with Jack Clarke and Omari Hutchinson offering support from midfield.
Ipswich Predicted Lineup
