Lorry driver arrested after cyclist death near Bearsden nursery
A 61-year-old lorry driver has been arrested after the death of a cyclist outside a nursery near Glasgow.
Una Brandreth was killed in the collison with the HGV on Tuesday 19 March, on Drymen Road in Bearsden.
Emergency crews attended, but the 56-year-old from Stafford was pronounced dead at the scene outside Bearsden Early Years Centre.
Police Scotland said the lorry driver had been charged with road traffic offences and would appear in court at a later date.
