U-17 WWC: Zambia, Kenya Lose To Brazil, England In Group Openers
Zambia and Kenya lost their opening games at this year’s FIFA U-17 women’s World Cup in Dominican Republic on Friday.
While Kenya lost 2-0 to England, Zambia fell to a 1-0 defeat to Brazil.
The result means Nigeria’s Flamingos are the only African team that has recorded a win at the tournament.
The team defeated New Zealand 4-1 in their opening game in Group A.
They will now face debutant Ecuador in their second game on Saturday.
