Shanghai’s newest luxury hotel – built into the side of a quarry
There’s not much need to venture out of the crater for dining opportunities, with plenty inside the hotel. Cai Feng Lou specialises in authentic regional Chinese cuisine, particularly from the Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces, but the headline restaurant is Mr Fisher: one floor below the water, enveloped by an aquarium and serving fresh seafood.
