2024 NBA Draft Results: Every Pick and Trade of the First Round
The first round of the 2024 NBA Draft is officially in the books. While the draft lacked a surefire superstar like drafts in years past, it didn’t lack excitement.
The Atlanta Hawks held the No. 1 overall pick and could have gone in multiple directions. However, in the end, they selected French prospect Zaccharie Risacher, leaving the other French prospect, Alexandre Sarr, to land with the Washington Wizards at No. 2.
There was one pre-draft trade involving the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards, and then four more mid-draft trades, including one involving a top-10 pick.
After 30 picks, there is still tons of talent on the board ahead of the second and final day of the NBA Draft.

Every Trade of the 2024 NBA Draft First Round
– Washington Wizards trade forward Deni Avdija to the Portland Trail Blazers for guard Malcolm Brogdon, No. 14 pick in the 2024 draft, 2029 first-round pick, and two second-round picks.
– San Antonio Spurs traded the No. 8 pick in the 2024 draft to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a 2031 first-round pick and a 2030 first-round pick swap.
– Phoenix Suns trade the No. 22 pick in the 2024 draft to the Denver Nuggets for the No. 28 pick in the 2024 draft, the No. 56 pick in the 2024 draft, and two future second-round picks.
– New York Knicks traded the No. 24 pick in the 2024 draft to the Washington Wizards for the No. 26 pick in the 2024 draft and the No. 51 pick in the 2024 draft.
