2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year odds: Caleb Williams favored; Maye rising
The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books, and bettors are already diving into wagering on next season’s awards.
One spot in particular that is seeing some action is the market for NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
As projected, Caleb Williams was drafted first by the Chicago Bears. The quarterback out of USC saw his No. 1 pick odds get shorter and shorter leading up to the draft.
Now, he’s also the favorite to win OROY in his inaugural season.
Let’s dive into the odds for some of the names at the top of the board (via FanDuel Sportsbook).

While expectations for Williams were high before the draft and remain the same after, one signal-caller who has seen his odds make a jump in recent days is Maye.
As of Friday, Maye’s OROY odds were at +2500, but moved to +1500 over the weekend.
Maye was arguably the most polarizing talent heading into the draft, and some still remain split on exactly what kind of quarterback he will become.
While the Patriots eventually decided against trading the third pick, instead selecting their presumptive QB of the future, their former coach Bill Belichick gave an honest assessment of Maye and where he needs to improve on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
“A very talented kid. Good size, runs well, has a good arm — just, he hasn’t played very much. He doesn’t have a lot of experience. … He’s gonna need some work in reading defenses, reading coverages. … This is a kid that can make all the throws; he just needs to be more consistent.”
Over the course of his three years at North Carolina, Maye made 30 appearances, throwing fewer than 1,000 passes (952).
